Im trying to look for some good blues pickups for my MIM std. strat. It's all stock and im getting annoyed by the shitty hum of stock pups.Is a full set of blue single coils a bad setup? Im not HUGE on solo's but im in to Hendrix and most recently SRV, so i might have neck and middle blue laces and a red for the bridge maybe?

you might want to check out Fender custom shop 69 pickups

Lace sensors are nice. The Golds are my favorite though. They sound the most like real single coils. The Fender Custom Shop pickups are okay, nothing to write home about.

Yea the 69's seem like they have better reviews than the laces, even though they both seem really nice. Thanks

i have 69's in my MIM strat and they sound really good, but the middle pickup is not reverse wound so the hum does not go away even if you select both the bridge and middle or middle and neck pickup together
