Dunlop Ultex 1mm.
The grip on Jazz IIIs hurts my fingers.

I plan on buying a 50-pack soon. 6 of them has lasted me 6 months or so. So with a 50 pack I'm set for another 4 years or so.

Pick gnomes will get you... They have ways to mysteriously make picks vanish.

It got to a point where I had 50 Jazz III's in a sealed peppermint-tin at the beginning of the year, and I'm down to only about 20 again...

The more you get, the faster you lose them.

Dunlop Tortex. The green ones;... .88 I believe? I find it's a happy medium for use on both electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass

Standard purple 1.14mm Dunlop Tortex. Fat but easy to control, though the bigger the better, thinner picks(especially light gauge) just feel flabby to me now. I tried some Jazz III's once, and I just don't get the hype.

Dunlop .88 tortex. they are the thinnest ones that dont bend and they have a subtle grip on the logo side.

Has anyone tried Planet Waves picks? The Black Ice, or Joe Satriani sigs? They're much cheaper than Dunlop, and most Planet Waves (and D'addario) stuff I've tried has been pretty good.

I actually have a set of Black Ice picks sitting next to me. Again, I like thick picks, so that probably has to do with it a lot, but I can't stand them, they're flimsy as hell and tiny.

Can't be 5-finger picks

But seriously, I mostly use Brain Picks, .88mm. Epic picks.

My usual pick of choice is usually 1mm black Jim Dunlops because I enjoy the feel of them. Ever since I "forgot" to give my mates borrowed one back, I haven't looked back. Having said that, I occasionally pull out the JD Big Stubby 2mm mainly for practice and to play stuff that requires some shred or well placed alternate picking, as I find it easier.

Jazz 3's and 1.14 Ultex's. The Jazzes are for electric, the Ultex for electric.

Haha! Too true dude. Although, my picks eventually always return to me. I really should look into that 'Pick-Gnome' repellent stuff I saw the other day... :-p

Ibanez Paul Gilbert picks.
Dunlop delrin 2mm.

I think if Ibanez made the Paul Gilbert picks have a bit more surface area and had 'em in like...1.5mm or something that'd be my perfect pick.

I'd love to try Red Bear picks too. I can imagine loving the "big Jazzer" that they make.
