23rd? Really?

Wow. I'm not sure if that's impressive or sad.

Eh, it was only a matter of time before Bond ran out of things to do. I mean if it would have kept going he probably would have been going on a super secret mission to save a cat from a tree.

I was more surprised at MGM being completely out of money. Screw this film, MGM is greater than this film will ever be.

But, god. Damn.

Know what would be kewl? Mebbe this guy for Bond... mebbe.

He'd have to play the part. It'd be hard not to see him as Doctor James WhoBond if he didn't do it right.

Daniel Craig is NO James Bond. He looks like a thug.

Well Quantum Of Solace sucked, but Casino Royale was good. ehhhhh...

The original was better.

Daniel Craig has a lot of potential to be a pretty good Bond, but the new plots are absolute fucking garbage.

Daniel Craig wasn't the worst, but he's still not Bond. Casino Royale was a pretty cool movie.

That and the two recent films are viewing Bond from a completely different angle - he's younger, more impulsive, less suave (still charming, but a bit rough). I think Craig got that part down pat, but it's not the Bond everyone knows.
#21
I never liked any of the Bond movies, so this makes me happy. The only good thing that ever came of 007 was Goldeneye 64.

i don't take offense from addlepated, pretentious and contumelious people amongst us.

i think Daniel Craig fills the role of James Bond, as he was originally created, very well. it's just an opinion...put down your thesaurus and live with that.

Daniel Craig makes the series infinitely more interesting than the mannequin that preceded him.

Some guy is writing new Bond novels now. I hope that they are still in the Cold War context with SMERSH and other evil geniuses. I don't like the new films and all the "terrorist organisations".

IMO Casino Royale was good. Quantum of Solace was an okay action film, but seriously not a good Bond film.

That sounded very silly in my head. And I could never figure out what the difference between SMERSH and SPECTER were.

Well yeah! Casino Royal was set to be Bond's beginnings. A prequel if you will.
But anyways, BOO MGM! Hopefully someone picks it up soon.

Good, it seems like all James Bond films are is a spy sent on a mission, he meets a girl, screws the girl, the girl either dies or is never heard from again, and he beats the villan.
#35
Daniel Craig may not have fit the movie Bond we've seen from the greats Connery-Brosnan, but if you have read the books, he does quite well, especially considering the darkness of Casino Royale (I liked Quantum of Solace as well, but I didn't understand the plot.

That's too bad. I liked the new ones. Craig gave 007 a lot more personality than in the few other films I've seen. I connected much more with the character. You might say i felt more of a bond...James Bond.

(okay I've made my vile pun, I'm done)
