I use an M-Audio Fast Track Pro, which works well enough. $150 new.

I started using one to hook my Mac into my effects loop for Logic effects. Works flawlessly and is very intuitive. Not sued it with Garageband, but I imagine it would be just as easy.

Looks suspect. I wouldn't trust it, man.

$180 is pretty cheap for a recording interface. Lots of them are well well above $200 USD. I mean that that one looks 'suspect' as in it just looks cheap, like it'll fall apart five minutes after its warranty expires or right after your return window ends.

See if you can find a used Fast Track 2, it's a great interface. The Line 6 is good too, and might be a little cheaper.

I picked up a Lexicon Lambda the other day for dirt cheap ($35 )...pretty happy with it so far. Does everything I need it to do.
