I've been saving for a new guitar for some time, and changed what I want a lot over that time.

However i'm ready to buy now and have narrowed it down to 4 guitars:

Epiphone Riviera
Fender Telecaster FMT
Fender 72 Deluxe Telecaster
Or an Epiphone Dot

What are the mini humbuckers in the Riviera like?
And what are Fenders wide range pickups like?

I play mostly blues or hard rock so I think the Tele FMT would probably be best but I'm not to keen on how it looks!

Riviera Nick Valensi is a great guitar, it's great for Indie like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, maybe a bit of Oasis. (Can be good for blues Though)
Fender 72 deluxe is nice too but I prefer the 72 custom which is more versatile. (Bridge: Single coil, neck: humbucker). The Rosewood version might do it for blues.

I've no expierence with the dot and the FMT.
