So, I have an older Mitsubishi 45" big screen in my basement... My brothers just hooked it up to play video games, but it seems as if the colors are a little messed up. In the center of the screen everything looks great. But on the right side(especially) and left, the red color seems to be offset and shadowing the blue color.

Any ideas or comments on how i might be able to fix this?

Thanks

Bang on it with a sledgehammer.

That only works on a Sony.

I've read those...The only thing i can say, is that i need to change the Red Convergence IC's....I'm just not too sure how to do that.

It's the magnets from the side speakers.
The question is magnets, how do they work?
Been in Japan since August, no fucking money left!

It's a rear projection magnets aren't your problem.
There are 3 projectors in the rear of the cabinet. Each should have 2 adjustments on them set 90 degrees away from each other. You can try playing with those to see if you make an improvement. If you decide to do that do it very slowly one at a time and keep track of how far you move them so you can return them to their original positions after you find out you mucked it all up.
If you do have to replace an IC good luck finding the right part.
