So I received this guitar in a trade and I'm just curious to the actual model.

-The tone knob has been replaced with a killswitch.
-The pickups are not original.
-The truss rod cover is not original.
-No markings on the headstock besides the Jackson logo.

I was told it was some sort of Dinky? I don't really know anything about Jacksons so any help would be appreciated.

Serial Number on the back of the neckplate is: 9665117
2008 Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster
2010 Fender Classic Players Jazzmaster
2010 Fender Blacktop Jazzmaster
Peavey 80w Bandit

If you take the neck off, it should be stamped on the neck and/or inside the neck pocket.

Yeah that's kind of what's stopping me. I'm going to see if I can e-mail Jackson the serial number and get an answer.

Any idea what Dinky's are generally worth? This is a great little guitar but it's not really suited for the kind of music I play so I'd rather keep trading or sell it.

All the Dinky's I look at online have a blade-style pickup selector rather than the knob one on this guitar. Hmm.

I'd suggest going to JCFonline.com, they can find the model easily, but my guess (not absolutely sure) is it's a DR3.

Marshall MC212

Seems like that's the one Thanks for your help.

EDIT: Actually I'm not so sure. Mine has actual chrome hardware instead of the brushed aluminum but i'll try the forum. Thanks!
