IE now feels like a pop-up

I have three dead kittens buried in my yard
They're all more responsive than you
And in life cats land on their feet
But It doesn't matter if I drop you, you'll still crash soon

Oh, you just did

Don't give a **** about your cosmetic praise
Google's been loading since yesterday
XP worked just fine
I will slaughter Microsoft someday

1 Gig RAM should not be too few
Someday, I'll shit on you
Tryed to install XP and you took it straight to hell
God ****ing damn it, the screen froze again!

I'm not even sure if this is coming up on WordPad
Oh, there it is

Cannot upgrade to 7
My Acer will slip into stasis
Have I yet mentioned the kittens to you?

Believe me Owen, I've got some appropriate riffs running through my head. Y'know, the real angry ones.

Well, here's the deal. I've got a brand spanking new recording interface, and some nice software to boot. However, as described in the song, I became fed up with Vista and decided to downgrade to XP, wherein a myriad problems rammed themselves up the ass of my Acer. I'm not even typing this from my computer right now. I'll have to wait until my buddy fixes up the damned thing until I can actually make the song.

I here this song in my head as an old school beastie boys rap hahaha

As long as you understand my pain, you can hear whatever you want. Seriously, Vista made me hate computers.

Will it solve the Acer's problems or Vista's/XP's?

Well, both really. Unless there's something wrong with your hardware, any problem you're experiencing is likely due to issues with your operating system, and if you don't have a potent anti-virus software, I can almost guarantee you have problems somewhere (as evidenced by the porn reference in your poem.)

Ubuntu is an OS, so it would be replace Vista/XP/Windows 7/whatever. By virtue of the fact that Vista would be gone, you would no longer have issues. If you still really want to have some sort of Microsoft OS on your computer, you could just dual boot Ubuntu and Vista.

What're system requirements for the latest Ubuntu? I think I may have some hard drive issues as well. After the attempted switch to XP I can't even boot up properly right now.

I Lol'ed. xD I think everyone who's every owned a Windows computer can relate to this one.

Ubuntu runs on more or less anything... Xubuntu is basically the same thing, but lighter. If you doubt your spec, obtain that.

Also, I hear that Windows 7 actually behaves with the massive majority of laptops, unlike XP and Vista. There exist cracked versions; for not-getting-banned related issues I won't tell you where. However, Google does love you very, very much.

And I know exactly where to look.
