IDK about you guys, but there have been many times when watching a movie where I have thought "my god, [insert song name] by [insert musician] would be perfect here!"

Two recently that I have thought of have been:

Twilight Saga:
"Who Wants to Live Forever?" - by Queen

Happy Feet:
"Penguins" - by Lyle Lovett
"Feats Don't Fail Me Now" - by Little Feat

Any of you guys got any like this?

The Ballad of Johnny Butt by Sublime in the movie Public Enemies. The movie is about John Dillinger. It would fit perfect into a shootout scene with the cops.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktLf9TrziGM

First part of lyrics:

Johnny Butt was a man with a real strong will to survive
He just keep pushin' on even though he was barely alive
So shoot it up shoot it up it just don't matter
Johnny says he wants go do it
Says he wants to kill a cop
We've got a brand new dance it's called we've got to overcome
We've got a brand new dance it's called we've got to overcome
So Johnny just keep pushin' cause the streets are yours
There'll come a day when all that shit won't matter
So shoot it up shoot it up it just don't matter
When you're resisting anyway
We've got a brand new dance it's called we've got to overcome

for the record, I saw Happy Feet while babysitting, and my gf dragged me to Eclipse.

Besides, most well-crafted movies won't have gaps in the soundtrack such as the ones I mentioned, how could you add a song to a movie like "the Blues Brothers" or "The Commitments," or "American Graffiti"?

I know that, but I meant that it would work equally well in that movie as well. I meant working well in a specific movie, not just working well in movies in general. (Almost) any song could work in "the movies" if you found the correct movie choice for it.

Imogen Heap - any romance movie.

I discovered Imogen Heap yesterday and have become slightly obsessed. Forgive me.
...In my opinion.
