Im going to buy the Pod studio ux1 very soon and i have some questions about it and pod farm. Is it possible to use my own foot pedal with the ux1? Example, Guitar > Foot pedal > ux1 > computer. And is it possible to record the tone i create in pod farm in Audacity? Or can i only record the dry sound into Audacity? Thanks.

Yes and Yes. However I think only the newest beta version of audacity will pickup the ux1. Also you have to open the pod farm itself because it dosen't come with a vst plugin.

The Studio version comes with the VST.

Ditch Audacity, it's a horrible recording program. Download Reaper and thank me later

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

Just got the Ux-1 about a week ago as well...nice little device. You can directly record your Pod Farm tone into Audacity, great for just capturing ideas and such...but yeah for more in depth recordings download Reaper! Hope you enjoy it and let us know if you have anymore questions when you get it.
