Hi, i would like to know if anyone have tried the new Dimarzio 36th anniv PAF in a Fender Strat... im moving to an HSS configuration since i need more versatility on my guitar so im going to put the PAF with Dimarzio's Area 61 on the neck and middle... now my problem is that all the controls in my strat are 250k and my cap is a .1 mf, its very imposible to me to buy the right values of controls so i have to ask...

if i use those values, the pickup will sound muddy at all ?

Of cource that question can only be answered by someone who have tried the pickup or similar ones (like the duncan 59 PAF) on a strat under those values.

i've never tried them but there are demos on youtube with a strat and the 36th anniversary paf pickups

it might be hss but those pickups are all low output. for versatility, maybe get a medium output humbucker.

Yes, thats why im choosing them... i need a humbucker that balances well with my Area 61's and still give me a classic PAF tone... still those have higher output than the others. The other reason that i have choosen the PAF's was because of the dificulty to get higher values on my controls, so maybe medium output humbuckers will sound very muddy with 250k
