After browsing the forums recently I realized that a specific thread had disappeared and this realization saddened me. So without further ado I'm resurrecting Applehead's Name that bassline thread.

The rules are simple.

One person posts a recording of themselves playing a clip of the bassline of any song they choose and the rest of the forum try to guess what song the bassline is from.

Whoever guess correctly then has the option to either record a bassline themselves or to pass if they don't have the facilities to make a recording.

For the sake of fair play can we keep the recordings to fairly mainstream or popular artistes to at least give the forum a chance. There's no point posting the newest song by your favourite local band when 90% of the forum live far away from you

I'll begin

Hm...sounds Primus-y but it's probably not that.

The resonant frequency of the clitoris is too low for the guitar players to take care of.

It's not Primus, but it's Les Claypool... it's one of his own songs; One Better.

I don't have the time or the means to upload anything right now myself, but I might get round to doing one some other time.

Here is my contribution. (Sorry to butt in but no-one else was posting)

It's a very easy one, and apologies for the recording, I had to do it without an amp because it's half two and everyone else in the house is sleeping.

EDIT
Disregard this entirely, it's cutting out in places.

http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/berzerker92/music/all/play864868 mine should be pretty easy. (sorry about sound quality but i am no lie using a rock band usb mic dangling in front of my amp and audacity)

Offspring - gotta get away.
Here's my contribution, it's pretty low quality but it should still be recognizable.

Edit: Was it not mainstream enough?

Run to the Hills isn't it? Steve Harris plays way to much similar basslines :P They're good stamina workout though.

Haven't got any proper recording equipment, but I contribute anyways. (Yes, this part was edited)

Anyways, please don't mind that the mic on my computer isn't really meant for... being used. Had to mix some fancy overdrive and lo/hi settings to even make it record.

Equipment:
Ibanez GSR 205
Ibanez SWX35
Ibanez PD7 Phat-Hed

I also own a Cruiser bass... Even though I don't know the model.

I really can't make out your track in the slightest.
