Hi,

I've completely memorized a solo for quite some time now,but once I try to increase the speed my JazzIII keeps getting 'stuck' on high the e,the string isn't giving any slack.I'm using 11-54s and was planning on going up,because I like the feel of thicker strings..

When I still had a 9er on the alternate picking of 3rd notes went flawlessly, because of the higher tension things became harder, just keep going at it or just throw in a 9er?

Thanks in advance!

Picking on the thicker things is always harder. I'd say change your picking angle or your picking approach so that it doesn't get stuck. And don't expect to increase your speed overnight.

I was doing these 3rd notes at 75bpm,now it reduced to 65bpm,gah the horror D:
