Random good condition guitar with 24 frets and a whammy. Not fender, not a les paul, not ibanez.

Either a used hollowbody (something like a Gretsch G5122) or a used seven string

my guitar, used epi les paul custom (not worth the new price).

but what i would REALLY choose is a used PRS se singlecut in white.

if not those, i would look at asian and mexican fenders, are you good at building stuff? carvin build kits are like 480

and that new british company chapman guitars is supposed to make an INCREDIBLE guitar for what it costs. 299 pounds which is 378 US you get amazing features. i mean maple and mahogany, wilkinson trem, bone nuts, grover tuners 18:1, COIL TAP, ebony fretbaord.

http://www.chapmanguitars.co.uk/

to my knowledge there are no other guitars that offer features like that. washburn offers a bastardized coil tab on some cheap guitars, but no guitars have that lineups. grovers, wilkinson, bone, and ebony? done deal.

but its like a ford model T, any color you want as long as its black.

actually i take it back. if i wanted to really rock out and play some hard stuff, i would but dumb crap most teen kids buy. i WOULD buy the chapman.

in addition to everything i said, it has a kill switch pot stock. sick. that guitar is a poor man's super shredding dream (except no floyd, but F the floyd, im a hardtail man anyways).

about 3:14 is sweet that this stuff comes stock on a guitar like this.

Any 500 guitar that sells well. Then I would sell it off and either put it to a new guitar or get some badass piece of gear, like a pedal or some shit

I already have that guitar, it's a Godin Exit-22
five reasons?
-It looks great
-It plays great
-The craftmanship is great
-The stock pickups and hardware are pretty good
-It's made in Canada (unlike 99% of guitars in that price range)

What do you want more for 500$

Under $500? Nothing really. Maybe a half-decent used acoustic.

If I can nudge the budget up to around $800 though, then I'd go out and get a Godin Progression right now.

It's got the best sounding single coils I've ever heard, the best neck I've ever felt on a "Strat," and it looks killer. Doesn't hurt that it's manufactured in the USA and built in Canada.

I got lucky once and played an accosutic that was just over $500 that played OK. Basically, there's no guitar (new) that costs that amount that I'd want.
Moving on.....

a Fender Telecaster MIM or a Epiphone Casino.
If something is nothing it must not be something in any possible way

Under $500.00? That is a easy one since I already own one. A Gibson Melody Maker.
5,It is lite as a feather.
4,The single coil pickup and bridge give the guitar a unique sound.
3,It is fun to play
2, It sounds damm good
1, It is made in the USA.
Bhaok

The following statement is true. The proceeding statement is false.

If you can find a tokai Les Paul or Stratocaster BUY it. They are by far the best copies out there. I couldn't tell the difference between a real Les Paul and the Tokai, they're very well built. The Tokai strats in the 80s actually surpassed the strats made in the 80s imo, these are great guitars for relative cheap cost. On Craiglist a tokai Les Paul is going for around 500.

A Gibson Melody Maker, because it's American made and it's just a straight out, balls to the wall, rock n' roll guitar!
