I don't usually play this style of music, but I wrote this riff today and I thought it was pretty cool so let me know what you think. It's the first one in my profile. Oh and I mixed it in ten minutes so any suggestion there would be helpful.

I don't listen to much of this style of music but it sounded pretty good! You should keep working with it and use it in a song. I would love to hear it because all the other stuff on your profile sounds great! Keep it up!

it sounds more Prog/Groove, Mesuggah style to me rather than Math. But im basing Math Metal on The Dillinger Escape Plan. The drums sounds good and the tones of the guitars were quite strange but suits it. it certanly has a very deep, kind of hanting sound to it, works well though.

Oh yeah I consider DEP mathcore like Psyopus and Architects and stuff, but yeah this is more like Meshuggah. My drummer already told me he didn't want to play to it, so I have a lot of options with where to go with this. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback.
