Hey, i have a crappy Esteban acoustic guitar that i don't even know what the model is (she plays like a dream though). I got it for free, changed out the strings and now Ive noticed that my high e string and only that string is lower than my others, a noticeable amount. Looking at the saddle, it is definitely leaning toward that side, though no other strings are low.
Did i put the saddle on backwards?

Those guitars are just plain junk. Literally they can't legally be classified as a musical instrument. Junk it. There are tons of cheap acoustics that will make you realize that thing doesn't play like a dream.

I'd take it to a guitar tech, or just suck it and learn that way. I have a few issues with my guitar, but since I'm pretty low on budget, I stick with it and focus on my technique.

ok, besides the low action does the guitar still play like a dream?

if the low action is causing a problem, you can make sure the saddle is seated properly in the bridge.

if it is, and the intonation is good, proving that. (the guitar is in tune at the 12th)

then you can add a bit of paper under the string in the nut to raise the string a little and possibly lessen the buzz noise.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
