I'm looking for a tube amp around $600-800 with a great clean sound. I hardly use the distortion on the amp but use my Blues overdrive but even then I don't use it all that often. I'm looking for an Indie-Rock sound like Modest Mouse, Built To Spill, 764-Hero, Warpaint, Johnny Foreigner etc. though sometimes I like to play some punk like Jay Reatard, Fugazi,The Clash, etc but that doesn't matter as much as the Indie does

Right now I am using a Vox AD30VT and I usually use the Tweed 4x10 amp setting. Its alright but could do much better. Any advice would be nice.

The Jazz Chorus 120 is a good amp too as long as you always want to run the amp clean. You can push the ones I highlighted into distortion by just driving the preamp valves harder with a pedal. With a JC120 you need the distortion to come purely from the pedal itself.

You want a fender twin reverb. For 800, try to find an old one from the 70s

+10000 on the Fender Twin, thunderously loud cleans, especially with single coils!
