The fingers on my left hand are more flexible than the ones on my right.

Is this the same for you guys too?

Is your left hand by any chance your fretting hand?

If so, that makes perfect sense. I think every guitarist's fretting hand is more flexible than their picking hand.

That's like say an Athlete's back is more flexible then an old man's.

I think it's pretty obvious that this happens.

Forgot about fingerstyle/classical guitarists.

Probably because I'm really bad at playing fingerstyle and need picks.

just stop using picks and get a bit of a thumbnail, youll be used to it in like a week, happened to me by being so unorganized i could never find picks.

I do it cuz I'm a Mark Knopfler fan boy haha. Gives a better sound as well I think. Means you don't have to buy picks either.

Actually, no. My left hand fingers can stretch from the first fret to the seventh, as can my right hand fingers.

agreeeed. it also helps with reggae and ska. you can control your attack so much better and of course the crazy fingerpicking is always a plus.

I can make it from first to eighth, it takes effort and wouldn't be useful in playing at all, but I can do it.

I couldn't stand growing my fingernails on my right hand out. I'm really OCD about my nails and would absolutely hate having nails that went past my fingertips, so I'd have to use a set of those ring kind of fingerpicks or it'd be out of the question.
