Huh, looks pretty cool, would definately be fun to play with. Like most instruments, if it's not too expensive, I might look into getting it.

The guys voice is really freakin boring, though.

I'll stick with my theremin.

That is really cool though.

Seems just like a bass with some effects built in. Anyone care how to explain how that isn't that case?

It almost is except the low E (D in this case) is fretless, i.e. the frets dont cover the whole fretboard, and one string has an octave partner, like a 12-string.

The tuning is odd as well, dont remember what

Want.

Some cool stuff right there.
I don't see how it's the "easiest stringed instrument to learn" though.

So...um, I came in here expecting another vuvuzela thread. I'm now thinking that the guy should've hired someone else to do the ad for him. His voice...it's a mix between a creepy pedo and the grandpa who keeps trying to drive his electric wheelchair off tall buildings.

That's what I've been trying to figure out.

It's only easy when you're trying to sell it.

I would really like to see what it can do in a more aggressive style. Based on what I've seen it looks like his market his Sigur Ros and Bjork fans and not much else.

That said, I like it.
