Hey guys! hey im wanting to buy the ESP LTD MH-417 7 string. But it doesnt have a locking tremolo or locking tuners. it has gotoh. so I was wondering if thats even really a problem tuning wise. Ive never had a guitar without locking tuners. and if it is a problem, is there even locking tuners out for 7 string guitars? i would greatly appreciate some imput guys thanks

You'll be fine. The only reason you ever need locking tuners is when you have a double-lock tremolo setup. The locks keep the strings from slipping due to the pressure of the strings balancing the bridge.

There's no need for locking tuners so long as you know how to restring your guitar properly - read the stickied thread at the top of this forum. Gotoh are a very good brand and the guitar will stay in tune fine (again, so long as your restring it properly).
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.
