I was wondering if there is a type of mount that holds a certain part of the strings near the bridge that give it a sitar tone?
Cause, I was messing around with a tweed cable on my guitar and it gives me that very nice tone of a sitar when placed near a certain point

Maybe I will but I have no idea how to mount it. Also it needs to be at like a specific tension and pressure to work right

Well, I'll give it a try when I get home from my trip.
I'll post results if I'm ever successful

I saw a pedal that could do it, but I would have to search for awhile to find it, plus it would be expensive (it is a guy who makes custom pedals out of Australia). He's a nice guy and his pedals are cool, but they're expensive.

Well my Gt-10 has a setting for it but I spent hours trying to get it to sound real. And I don't really want to spend a lot of money. So I'd rather produce that sound without the help of a pedal.
