So today, I'm going downtown with my friend.
Question is : How am I supposed to survive the blazing 90F (30C) heat?
I'm going to die out there.

EDIT: People, 30C is hot for me, because I live in Finland (which is usually not-so-warm), so I'm used to around -20..+10.
You guys live in different places, so don't expect other people to "like" 30C and so on.
It's what you've gotten use to.

wear shorts and a t-shirt, a hat, sunscreen, and stop being a pussy

Also you could wrap a wet shemagh around your head. but then people might think you're going to bomb them.

shorts, light shirt and water?

common man, last week i went to go see maiden with a 30 000 people in the crowd and it was over 40C with the humidex. The crowd was chanting for water before the show even started...nonetheless, it was ****in awesome

Wear only swimming trunks and floaties. The floaties are crucial, do not forget them.

Well not actually blazing but effin hot no matter what. And here the air is really "moist" (I guess thats the word) If it would be like a little windy and dry air then 30C would be nothing.
#15
People in this thread don't seem to realise that the effect temperature has on you is relative to what you're used to. So if you aren't used to it being 30C, that shit's gonna be hot.

Man up, it's only 30C you pussy.

90* Fahrenheit? Come on dude, it gets over 100* here regularly, with humidity out the ass to boot. Don't be a baby.

I live in Finland so I've gotten used to like +10 to -30, not +30. ^^

Ah my, I spent over a week walking around in Vegas with 100-110 F (37-43 C) heat, and I was perfectly fine. Just bring water and wear light clothing, and you'll be good for it.

I live in Canada where 30+ isn't the norm either. Even when humid and higher than that I just deal with it, really.

EDIT: ^ Not trying to be "cool" just people (unecessacarily) bitching about the weather pisses me off.

Too hot, this town is too hot
Now they're calling for their guns
About to spoil the rude boys' fun
But rude boys never give up their guns
It's too hot

No man, can tell them what to do
Pound for pound, they say they're ruder than you
They are the boss, and no back down
You might have a couple you like
Choose your burial sight
Take insurance, make up your will
Come out and tell them, find them

The soldiers came back to you without them
The police force are afraid, they can't even touch them
They say "You think you're bad? Why don't you come out yourself"
These boys are calling for a fight, fighting tonight they don't lie
It's too hot

It didn't affect me too much at all. When I left my northern Canadian home on July 23rd on the way to the airport, the high that day was 10 C. I got in Vegas, and it's 42 C. I actually didn't mind the temperature difference too much, cause the humidity was only about 18% or so. However, when it's in the thirties and the humidity is 80%, 90%, 100%, then that's when I want to die.

I'm used to 90-100F heat in the summer with ridiculous humidity to match. Plus living near the coast I can just go to the beach, chillax in the water and observe the scantily clad women.

LOL it was 108 the other day 96-99 are pretty normal in the summer here but getting to the triple digits isnt really rare either wear some deodorant and live with out regrets

Depends where you live... For those of you who are used to +40 C, it's not a big deal. Yet you'd complain when it reaches -40C or lower while we don't. :P Hot weather is evil. :/

I'm sorry but I have to get this out of the way.

It was stupid hot in Toronto last week, something like 44C with the humidity. My advice is to not wear Flannel, but I doubt you are that stupid. I certainly learned my lesson. Just dress appropriately and make sure you have money for drinks and you'll be golden.

That's not too hot at all you mother****ing pussy! **** YOU!!!!

Nah but seriously, a wet towel (small of course) rapped around back of head under hat keeps your head cool. Think of soldiers in the desert. My cousin was a tank operator for a while in Desert Storm, he said even at night it could be 110+ degrees Fahrenheit inside those things.

Exactly. I dont mind cold weather, 'cause I've gotten use to it.
It's the other way around for Americans or where ever you live where it's hot.
