Today I went to a music store with my buddy and wanted to play a neck thru bass to hear the difference. Only one there was a warwick and when i played it omg. I've never heard such a beautiful tone. I always wondered why people like them so much. So i was wondering, would the neck thru do a big diff on the sound or was it mostly the warwick making that sound?

It was more than likely the warwick...

Neck-thru is more of a feel thing than a sound thing I think. Might impact the sustain, but not so much the tone.

And Warwicks sounds like Jesus. Straight up.

I think I need to find a warwick now...
Neck throughs do give you very long sustain. My Schecter studio 5 can go for more than 35 secs while my Ibanez and ESP struggle for 15

Ohhhhh so its really sustain that neck throughs give you. Thank you. But oh Jesus, that was such a beautiful sound that bass gave.

Which warwick did you play?

I have a corvette standard and love it to bits.

This. Warwicks have a very distinctive tone.

Welcome to the brotherhood. You have just been enlightened. (and no doubt acquired a great deal of the G.A.S.)

I've been gas-ing on a Warwick for a while.

I feel a Nirvana Black Stained Corvette STD or $$ would be perfect for me.
