When I play on the clean channel of my B-52, I get a "buzzy" sound, like a light distortion. I have had this particular amp for about a year, and I play on it daily. Is it time to replace tubes? I've heard that stock tubes don't last near as long as ones bought afterward.

I replaced one of the smaller tubes (what are these called?) a few months ago after it went out. Is it time for new tubes?

do you use a compressor?
If it's creative, true to your musical goal, and it sounds good, put it in the song.

1. Guitar, delay, verb, amp, and creativity.
2. Well-tuned acoustic piano and creativity.
3. A bottle of water.

Ok sorry for the double post, but I don't think it's that hard of a question. Can somebody just help me out real quick?
