I have trouble describing what kind of songs I'm looking for, so I just give you an example:

Johnny Cash - Hurt [Youtube Link]
Morphine - In spite of me (Not me playing) [Youtube Link]

I don't like pop songs with some dude sobbing in the microphone and trying to play the saddest emo song.
I hope you get the idea of what I mean.
Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven
Eva Cassidy - Ain't No Sunshine
Andy Mckee - Rylynn
You're = You are
Your = Belongs to you

There = Not here
Their = Belongs to them
They're = They are

Good grammar is like sex. It feels good.
Anything from Jeff Buckley, Ray Lamontagne, or Damien Rice, probably not exactly what ur looking for, but come on, I dont care what genre people listen to, you have to feel these tracks

Buckely - Last Goodbye, Halleljuah
Lamontagne - Empty, Shelter
Rice - Volcano
Thanks so far, but I can't imagine I could ever play Mckee.

Got another one: John Butler Trio - Ocean

Lilac Wine. Use Jeff Buckley's version as a base, and work your arrangement from there. There's so much that can be done with that song.

Also try "Angeles" by Elliott Smith.
