I recently found a St. Anthony necklace in my desk, no idea where it came from, and figured might as well wear it, even though I'm not all that religious. I read up on St. Anthony and I was wondering if anybody else in the pit takes pride in wearing a cross or something similar? Is it bad that I was confirmed Joseph but I'm wearing a different saint?

It just means they're really into the Pope or Saint Peter, as that is Saint Peter's cross.
Yeah that's right, Peter was the first metal head.

Not to sound sarcastic or anything, but what does St. Christopher have to do with bikes? Is he like the saint of protection or something? In my head, I try to picture each saint with having a superpower or something. I'm a freak.

I've been wearing a St Christopher for a few years, but it has more sentimental than religious value (well it has no religious value); it was a gift from my sister before a long journey.

yea we all know techno viking is gay no need to post a video

I find it funny when I see people wearing rosaries to show how catholic they are.
Apparently it's actually a sin to wear them

Tattoos in general are also a sin.

So I have a good chuckle whenever I see a cross or Jesus tattoo.

To be technical when that was declared a sin, the tattoos of that time consisted of carving into the flesh and sometimes taking entire chunks of skin off. The ink tattoos of today weren't the subject in question. So, I believe it's a personal interpretation there.

I saw a guy in the swimming pool the other day who had rosary beards tattooed around his neck. Ranks up there with the most moronic tattoos I've ever seen.

I got a St. Jude scapular for my high school graduation from my step dad's crazy sister. He's the saint of lost causes. I have no religious affiliation and apparently I'm a lost cause. (She's never met me though so she doesn't know.)

Needless to say, it's hanging from my rear view mirror.

I wear a necklace of St. Michael, but that is more of a family thing and not a religion thing.

I hate religion and all that it represents, but I still love god and all those people up there.
