Awesome stuff. The playing was excellent, as well as the writing. Mix seemed good, everything came through pretty clear. Great job.

Thank you! Only been playing for 1,5 years or so so that is why I try to collect as much critique as possible and learn from it... Compliments are always nice to hear! If you want me to check anything out please say so!

Thanks again!

Playing was spot on and very accurate, I also really did enjoy the lead tone. Overall the mix seemed a bit centered with main guitars seem to me at least to need a little more bite to cut through that mix.

The drums beat wise are outstanding really enjoy the direction they take the song, Cymbals stand out a little bit for my taste but that's just me. Overall everything sounds really solid and with a little tweaking I think you could have a very strong track. Great job. No need to C4C but you are more then welcome to check out my stuff on my page. Good work brutha

Koen,
"Epiphany": Some pretty wild stuff! I hear some Zakk Wylde in there (a compliment). Drums sound good! I like the keyboards (what are they?). An unusual combination of components. Wouldn't mind hearing vocals on it. Crazy ending, what is it? Sounds good overall!! I don't think I've had someone from the Netherlands review my music before (though the BBC 6 Music radio is supposed to reach there: I got played there once), so please check me out at this link:

Hi there,

Thanks! Keyboards are Pro53 (Native Instruments). The ending is done with a delay, feedback on 100% and then turning the delay time from relatively long to as short as possible while the file is playing (done with an automation envelope).

Checking your stuff out now

Critting while I listen. Nice intro, this is very progressive, which I like. It sounds kind of Dream Theater-esque, but very original sounding at the same time. The playing is fantastic, especially considering how long you've been playing. The mixing is pretty well done, although there are some spots where when it transitions, the changes in volume are very apparent. This is a very good song overall, and I enjoyed it a lot. I liked the melodies and the drum beats a lot. I don't have anything bad to say other than the changes in volume.

Here's my newest song. Let me know what you think!

You, good sir, have not gone over to your friends house after a hard night of drinking to find 2 dudes passed out in the same room both holding their own flaccid cocks in hand, passed out, with porn on the tv.

I'm getting a Dream Theatre vibe, it's very well recorded, can I ask what you or the producer used? General equipment? I like your lead tone, compared to mine it's beast. Good song, I would love to hear it with vocals. There are a few parts where I hear some clipping.

You here clipping? That's weird...

Anyway, thanks! I did this all by myself. Drums are Addictive Drums, guitars are all done through PodFarm (UX2) and the synth is Pro53. The bass guitar is done with 4Front Bass module VST.

I used only my laptop and a MIDI controller mixer, and my UX2. Guitar is a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR in drop C

Very awesome! I usually don't listen to much of this kind of stuff but I really enjoyed this. Very well recorded and produced. Great playing on every thing haha. The drums sound great! The song itself was very well constructed and it had some great riffs. I especially liked the outro from around 5:00 and out. Keep it up!
