gonna get an ht-5s mini stack this month. got up to £500 to spend. its a valve amp sounds good but am looking for ideas if any1 knows of anything to rival it. needs to be able to do small gigs and band practises. any suggestions welcome, and i play blues, rock and some old skool metal and thrash. currently playing a MIK tokai sg

The ones I've played are good. I actually have a thread about stuff like this right now

But if you're looking for a stack they have good ones. The tweaker and the rebel are both very good and come in stacks.

But the blackstar is very good too.

you would need more power in order to use it for small gigs and practice, look at the ht-20 and a harly benton vintage 2x12
