On the E string, the 12th fret is too sharp.

The problem is, the saddle is already as far back as it can go....

its ibanez TR 70. These are the strings that came with it when i got it last week. Is there anything i can do except buy a new set of strings? (these are just over a week old at most)

Its just an ordinary allen wrench that you should be able to get at any hardware store, but if youre doing truss rod work for the first time you might want to take it to someone who knows what theyre doing.

Be very careful when adjusting the truss rod.

It takes a while for the changes you make to "settle" and actually take effect.

Never turn it more than half a turn in one go; after you've turned it half, leave it for a couple of days.

If you go and turn it 2 or 3 turns in one go thinking that nothings happening, you'll probably wake up the next morning with a warped (or snapped) neck.
