I wasn't sure whether or not this would go here or in the Cover section, but this is a solo I recorded for the Linkin Park Competition for their new album. The song was mixed and arranged by me with parts given by Linkin Park.

The solo is improvised, so its not perfect by any means, but this was the first take, and wanted some opinions on it so I know what parts to keep and elaborate on and what parts to scrap. Please give me your honest opinion. And yes I know its not the most technical solo and the wah is off in a few places, but I thought it fit it decently.

Solo starts at about the 2:25 mark when the vocals tail off, and vocals start at 1:50ish.

Thanks!

It's actually pretty good, a bit off at some points, noticeably towards the end, but nothing terrible. Just clean it up some.

But you won't win without adding more vocals, I can almost guarantee it.

Yea, this is just a mix I made to plan out the solo. I'll re-record it to fix the timing and polish it up before its entered, thanks
