So I'm nearly done building my second guitar, and I've painted it silver at the moment. One never sees any silver guitars...

Anyway, flat silver, while distinctive, is rather...flat. Now, the question is, do I want a black pinstripe running in line with the neck or silverburst? It's a superstrat, with 2 humbuckers and a TOM/String thru design.

This is all being done with Rustoleum Hammered spray paint (the teacher of the class calls it Hammer tone, not sure why).

I vote pinstripe.

You do realize the words silverburst is like bv310's batsign right? We know what he'll pick...

Silverburst would look superb on a super-strat. That's my back-up paint job should I have to abandon an oil finish.
#9
Since its a superstrat style body I'd go the pinstripe. I was going to say silverburst until I saw it was a SS, I dont think a burst would suit that body style very well.

Oh, and I always hear that paint referred to as Hammertone.

I demand pics of said build immediately.

I vote silverburst too. And Bobby, he hasn't been around much lately. He posted in the Jim Thread a couple of days ago, but other than that, I personally havn't seen anything from him for like a month or two.
