Im looking for a wah pedal that will get me closest to a Jimi Hendrix type sound for under 100 bucks. I believe he used vox but i dont know what kind.

Opinions.

None unless you find an insane deal on a Fulltone or Teese. All wahs under $100 are pretty bad IMO. I suggest you save up if you really want a Hendrix tone. Used Fulltone Clydes and Teese RMC4s go for around $140-$150 or so.

EDIT: ^No. It's a GCB-95 in a fancy case.
E-peen:
Rhodes Gemini
Fryette Ultra Lead
Peavey 6505
THD Flexi 50

Gibson R0 Prototype
EBMM JP13 Rosewood
Fender CS Mary Kaye

Go back in time and score yourself a Vox. That's pretty much the only way to completely match his tone, haha.
Q: Favourite Pink Floyd song?
A: The one where they get wicked high and play Emin and A for an hour.

When you say Vox that is what comes to my head automatically, sorry. So he used a Vox wah pedal or what?
#9
Yes, but the Vox wah of the late 60s is very different from what Vox is putting out now. To get that tone, your best option is to build your own or buy a good clone from Teese, Fulltone or one of the others.

Yeah, he used a Vox Clyde McCoy wah. A collectors item if nothing else now.

I have one, I got it for around 80 bucks, it's nice.

You overpaid.

^It's a GCB-95 with a different Q resistor I think. Very little difference.
