At first I was going to say the Jet City was the right channel because I saw a review and when the guy scooped it, it still didn't sound scooped so I figured since the right had more mids, it was the JC.

But I don't know, now I'm leaning more toward the left because the right sounds too tight.

But holy crap, you are a master at recording guitar amps. I think your thread worked, I'm really gassing for a jet city now, even though I'm saving up for a Mark V.

I think the right is the Jet City. The Jet City sounds kinda harsh in the highs to me.

Keep note that Ryan (TS) always uses the crunch channel on his 5150 so it may sound less saturated. that's what led me to the Jett being on the right
#13
I'm gonna take a guess and say the Jet City was on the left because I think that sounds more like a 5150 and my ears suck

Also, I don't even like metal but that was f*ckin awesome

Just because I said "budget", I'm not limiting myself to low-wattage amps.

I'm pretty much choosing between keeping my RG100ES or selling it and buying an Egnater Tweaker, JCA 20 or a Crate V33 and SLO-mod it...or man-up and grab a JCA100...but if I'll be spending that much, it would open me up to other amps. I'd really love to keep my Deliverance, but selling it would free up a good bit of cash. At this point though, I'm considering just keeping it because it's so damn good at EVERYTHING.

..and because it's become a pain in the ass to try to sell.

You should grab the modded jca20.

I love the d120. I wouldn't ever sell it if i were you.
Prs se Holcomb is the answer

I do REALLY want a Tweaker though...but JCA20 vs Tweaker...it's hard to say. I think the Tweaker edges out the JCA though.

I'll be selling all my guitars and picking up some Strat, probably...so that's some extra cash.

I need to get rid of this shitty 5150 cab and pick up something decent. I'd love a 212 rather than a 412, but I'd need K100s or EVM 12Ls for that to work out nicely. Skipping V30s for the Deliverance, probably. I want a VHT 412. That would be sexxxxx.

I'm gonna go for JC - L and 5150 - R.

Reason being that the R sounds a lot more 5150 smooth than the L which sounds kinda brittle.

Man, I really wanna hear one of the bigger ones with the Soldano OD channel on it!
Guitars: PRS Custom 24, PRS EG3, PRS Santana SE, PRS Tremonti SE, ESP-LTD M-200FM

Cab: Framus FR212

the JC is on the left, though I don't particularly trust my hearing
sounds pretty badass though

It doesn't give me GAS.

But I don't play metal.

doesnt give me gas either.

but mostly cause i already have one

not that i would actually ever use it for something with this tone, but just knowing it can do it is kinda impressive.

im thinking the jca is on the right, but im not really familiar with the 5150 much. though im actually thinking jca starts on the right, then goes to the left. which means i is confused. guess is right though.

Ill start to look in there more. My experience with just sm57 to firebox has been quite crappy, doesn't sound good at all.

Gonna go out on a limb and say JCA L, even though I voted the other one on accident.

Can't be sure though, I'm trying to do this by listening to my speakers. I need some gewd head phones.
