Well guys, I finally got off my lazy butt and tried recording. Direct input with the Ampeg and Destroyer. The sound quality is pretty "meh" and I couldn't get the double tracking quite right, but it still sounds alright. Might end up adding a bass line, cause I really do like the riff. It is enigmatic minor, with a couple different time signatures (9/8, 6/8, 8/8). I am thinking about picking it apart and turning it into a reeeaaalllly long phrase for mah band.

Sounds quite a bit better live, but whatever if I ever put out anything serious I'll let the pros do it. Tell me what you think, its my first time so be careful.

Clips in profile yo!

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

Yeah i know, couldn't seem to get it to go away either, atleast with EQ

Think its from the lack of cabinet or cabinet simulation?

Which is just a plugin right? So I can load the file again, click on it, and have tonez?

edit: alright, I'm going to unzip some cabinet impulses when I'm not on my linux machine (damned .zip and .rar). I'll change the recording over if and when I get it to work right -.-
