I'm looking for an AMP for my ESP LTD FX 260, I'll be playing metallica, megadeth, testament, guns n roses, dream theater, ac dc - so i want it to have a nice distortion and overall to be a decent amp for bedroom practise

I'm aiming at Roland 30x( dont know why, iv seen nothing but good feedback about this amp) its 270$ at my local store,

If you have anything to suggest at that price, please do and try to argument why.

save up more $ and get something that will last you in the long run, rather then buying something that you will want to replace in a year.

perhaps a small tube combo with a dist. pedal would be a better option
