It's back! Anyone been watching this season? 4 episodes, they've been amazing so far.

The latest one was one of the funniest ones I have ever seen.

Jeremy Clarkson showing up in a Citroen with three stories, complete with a japanese recreational area.

Still heavily scripted (which is a shame), but it's still some of the best entertainment on British TV.
#3
Yeah Top Gear's classic, I don't really like how the new stuff is obviously scripted, but it's still a legendary show.
#5
I don't mind. It's just proper entertainment. I am not even interested in cars, I just think their road trips are the best thing ever.

Their South America trek last season was one of the finest moment of television. So good. As well as the Vietnam on a bike one...

One thing I love about TG is how they introduce the Stig in every episode...

"Some say..."
#7
Are you talking about when they went to a south hick town and painted "NASCAR SUCKS" on their cars as well as a bunch of other suggestive things? And they got attacked at the gas station?

*Jeremy's 3 story things has fallen over.*
*James May awakes from slumber, head sticking out of his rocket thing...*

"Oh God, did the wind do that?"

"No, no, a giant came in the middle of the night James."
Wait.

I've liked the new series, and the last episode was great. It was so funny watching Clarkson struggle driving the car to Cornwall, and Richard's motohome was epic.

Top Gear's dull and Clarkson is a cunt.

It's as excellent as ever. I hope they do some special episodes like they did with the Vietnam and South America challenges, that'd be great.

Indeed, I love those episodes where one segment takes up the entire ep.

It's only six episodes, this summer run.

I hope they end with a two hour epic.

Used to be good. It's been more outwardly prone to it's scripting and so recently it's become quite stale.

This season has been quite shit so far but last night's episode was pretty good with Jeremy's ridiculous house-car

I laughed hard when Clarkson was just driving along going AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I love Top Gear and think it's the best thing on TV at the moment but the challenges are the only real interesting parts.
I stood before the glittery borders of new radius In search of the fabled city of mud and crushed velvet, What I found was a gutter where the love of entertainment Meets the lust for blood and demerits.

Good series so far, compared to the dire 14th series (although they did acknowledge it's flaws and admitted it was rushed)

Yesterdays motorhome challenge - excellent first half, rubbish second half.

Why would I want to watch James May trying to surf?!

Perhaps I am just longing for days when it was a car programme first and foremost, with funny / immature moments thrown in, rather than vice-versa

Last season was so-so, but saved by that AMAZING final ep when they were in South America. Just amazing. I think this one has been really good so far.

What series was the Vietnam episode in? I thought that episode was brilliant in a bad series.

To be fair, this season has been a lot more car based than previous series. I think last nights was the token stupid episode of the series.

You say it like it's a bad thing. I thought it was hilarious. Especially Jeremy's sheer panic driving up and down the motorway with a huge car looking like it'd fall over any second.

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. But I'm a bit of a purist, while I love Top Gear's stupidness, I like it when they actually review cars. Though I'm not so much of a purist that wants to hear reviews of boring cars.

Oh I see. I am the other way around. Totally not interested in cars... at all.

YOU'RE RUINING TOP GEAR

I kid. Nah I like it when they combine the two well, like the wedding part with the 4 door sports coups. They did decent car reviews, but also managed to piss around. If every episode was like that, it'd be awesome. Don't get me wrong though, Top Gear.

Robin Reliant was hilarious, Clarksons 3 tier house car was even more hilarious.

Even though I still love TG now, I do prefer the older episodes. The cheap car challenges from way back were so awesome. Plus I like James May older hair better than now
