I know its a very underestimated type of music, and many people just pass it off as "folk" or "country", which is obviously where it gets its roots from, but i recently discovered a musician who goes under the name of Tracing Ground.

I'm a big fan of City and Colour, and this guy is the next best thing. I can't wait to hear more from him.

Listen to Tracing Ground:

Seriously, this guy needs to be discovered. Cause for his age, he has some serious talent.

You know what would be better? If he didn't try to sound exactly like Dallas Green.

I don't think he trys to. He just naturally sounds like him. I've heard him play live with his metal band, and he sings in it too, and he just naturally sounds like him.
