alright, my friend gave me an old microphone just cause he didn't have anything to plug it into and didn't want it, so would it hurt my amp or anything if i plugged it into it? and whats the difference between one for a guitar and one meant for a mic?

Eh You should be fine, Just be careful with your volume levels. A bass amp is much better though cuz its more like a PA. And between a mic and guitar amp, You gotta remember, Your guitar amp can get LOUD. And if the feedback kicks in, thats like glass and shit your breaking lol. Idk I use mine in my Fender Choruser and its fine.

its one of those mics with the 1/4 guitar cable jacks and i don't have a pa system so i was wondering about just plugging it into my amp

and its not

also i just plugged it in without looking at any of the settings and my tube screamer was on, needless to say it screamed alright
