And here is that guy attempting to play it:

I have to admit, it sounds absolutely terrible and looks completely pointless in making any sort of song.. But it just looks too awesome.

From what I can tell it’s a self-promotional piece from a Dutch graphic designer. The Dutch have a very weird sense of humor when it comes to oddball conceptual art projects that some businesses will pay dearly for because really weird ideas like this because they stand out in the crowded world of urban European advertising.

Yeah, pretty sure they made this just because they could. It that respect it's kinda cool. But as a bonefide musical instrument, it's pretty silly.

I didn't bother watching the video the first time, I just watched it and noticed that at the end it shows you a close up of the neck and the high E string isn't even over the neck, how are you supposed to fret that one LOL.
The only way I could ever see this working (if they could build a decent one) is if you played it using purely hammer ons.

Did anyone else notice he didn't properly use standby? He just flicked both switches at the same time.

Also, they should've used a person who was more competent at the guitar. At times he looked like he had no clue to what he was doing

Horrible playing is horrible.
If you start a reply with: I have never played one but I have heard good things about it! Your opinion is invalid.
