I don't know exactly, but they don't sound very ambient. Burzum's metal albums are closer to ambient than those

Født Til å Herske is the only one I've heard, and neo-medieval ambient is a fitting title as it's ambient-ish with a pretty obvious medieval slant on it.

Hlidskalf has ambient moments and non-ambient moments as well; it's kind of a grey area to be honest, and depends what your definition of ambient is.

Best album of 2009. Steel Wound is well worth a listen, a departure from the likes of By the Throat and Theory of Machines but amazing nonetheless. His debut, Music for Sad Children, is a worth a listen too, although it can be quite tricky to track down (if you need any help finding it let me know).

This is surprisingly good actually, I wouldn't have thought Buckethead could pull off this kind of stuff but Dreamatorium is a solid album.

I strongly suggest you check out Nujabes's solo albums and EP's. Genuinely one of the best producers I've ever heard.
