Hello all,

We recorded some live footage from a gig we did a while back now and would be very grateful for any feedback. This was from our first gig and the footage covers the second half of one song and the first half of the next one although admittedly there isn't much of a gap in between the 2. Very grateful for any comments on performance, songwriting etc etc. C4C of course.

The video is on our myspace- www.myspace.com/whatlurksbeneaththemire

Cheers!

Richo,
The audio quality of the video is not very good, so that makes it hard to assess. It probably sounded much better to be there. The audio quality on "Downtrodden" is a hundred times better: I liked the first 2 1/2 minutes (after that the vocal style is not my thing). If you want to review some alternative music, please check me out at this link:

Thanks for the comments. I take your point, the audio quality isn't the best but I think for an amateur video it just about gets the point across. And you're right, it sounded amaaazing there :-p I joke. Grateful for any more comments on it or other songs.

Gets the point across, I think it's alright actually, but Prog isn't really my thing. What I hear has good elements and it's hard to tell even with the bad audio.

I'm impressed though, you guys have presence which is somthing that a lot of bands don't have these days.

Would you mind checking out the live footage from my bands First show?

The audio quality sucks pretty bad, everything blends together into one big mass of noise. Otherwise, I listened to the better quality tracks, and your music sound pretty neat, not my style of vocals, but neat. Keep it up.

Crit mine?

Will do, the audio quality sucks, and we are slowly starting to move away from the growled vocals (and my vocals all together) as the other guitarist/vocalist has got confidence now.

Sorry to threadjack TS.
