I've been getting really into (probably too into) noodling lately, but soloing is really starting to make sense to me and that is awesome. One thing I've noticed though is they always sound really jazzy, which is cool because originally that's what I was going for, but recently I've been getting into more rock and I wanted to try that out. Unfortunately, I feel a little stuck in my current playstyle. I rely a lot on arpeggios, vibratos, and short slides, using a G major scale. Anyone have any suggestions for making my sound a little more... southern blues-rock, I guess, kinda Duane Allman-ish? Thanks!

use different scales? probably the pentatonic/ blues scale is the one your looking for

Not only should you use pentatonic if your feeling bluesy, but also look into expanding outside of G major.
