i just purchased a radial tonebone classic and it requires a 15vdc power adapter.. the store gave me a 12vdc adapter because they are asses. When i plug the 12vdc adapter in the pedal light turns on and you can hear some pedal noise that changes when you turn the gain knobs.. but you can't hear the guitar through it. My question is, will that problem be fixed by ordering a new power adapter online or is that another problem with the pedal itself (like a tube gone) that i need to return it. thanks!

I used a 12v adaptor with my Tonebone all the time I had it and never had problems, the pedal may be faulty in that case.

would it be the tube inside? i would think if the tube was gone you wouldnt even get any pedal noise right?

I really don't know, sorry, it could be the tube, but you bought it new right?
If so, just return it

And are you sure the cable between your guitar and the pedal works?
I know I sound like captain obvious but we never know

I hope you get sorted out

nah it wasn't new.. this store is sortof a vintage boutique, shame they don't have the proper power adapters or test their equipment... back it goes.
