Which would it be? I feel sad i missed the 60s and musicians were more appreciated back in the day i think,
#2
Sometime in the late 50s, which would mean I could live my teenage years in the 1970s when prog was actually mainstream.

It would also make me roughly the same age as the members of Rush...

i would want to be born around 1978 or something, so ill be a teen when all the grunge was happening

Doubting between the mid 40s and the mid 50s. Both the music of the 60s and the 70s are awesome. But if I really had to pick I'd say in 1950. Then You'd get the best of both decades .

To be born at 1750,that would be cool.

late 60's so I could see all the badass metal bands in the 80's and see Pantera in the 90's. But I am pretty happy with decade I was born in. I have seen some pretty good bands.
My Gear
- Peavey Vypyr 75w
- Epiphone SG G-310(Added Seymour Duncan's)
- Epiphone Black Beauty III
- Ibanez RG200
- Squier Telecaster Retrovibe
- John

1980, so I could be a child listening to King Diamond and as a teenager I could listen to black metal. Oh right that happened being born in 1994 anyway, except without Margaret Thatcher...

Actually, 1994 seems good enough really, every decade has it's ups and downs.

Early to mid 60s so I could rock out to Van Halen and Gn'R etc.
#16
1900's so i could ride the boom of the 1920s.

I was born in 1990. I would not want to change that for anything. The 90's were the best. Every other decade can suck a fat one.

1940 so I could be 20 when the 60's started. Great music, cars, clothes, everything.

Anybody not choosing a decade in the future is a fool.

Personally I'd go: 2200
Guitar: Epiphone Casino
Amp: Laney VC30-212

Back then, life would seem like it does today to you. Just because you liked the music wouldn't make it so that you liked everything about the era.

50s.
Teenager through the 60s, then can afford to buy all the music and get to gigs in the 70s

I guess 1940 / 1950
Then I could be around in the 60's, 70's and 80's
Probably the best decades music wise
Hendrix, GNR, Sabbath, Beatles, Who, Muddy Waters, Little Jon, Clash, Zeppelin, Madness
Sadly I weren't born until 90's :|

All of the people in the US saying they would want to be born around the late 50s would be drafted

I was just thinking about this today at work!
I wish I was born in the late 70s/early 80s so I could be a teenager in the 90's and see all my favorite bands in their prime before they got old and "mature".
#28
1942. Then I'm still able to do stuff before the hippies arrive. THEN experience the movement.

I choose the 90s...the country has not really been to kind to my people in the past...anytime before the 1970's and I have to deal with Jim crow era crap. the 70's drugs and gangs were on the rise and disco was around...EWW DISCO!!

1980s were crap cause Gangs became rampant and crack hit like wild fire..Hair metal bands were around..

1990's which is when I was born were awesome...We had Power rangers! Dexters Lab and a shit load of other great kids shows! that makes it worth it.

I'm good with the late 80s.

however, I think being born a couple hundred years from now would be great.

or, a couple hundred years in the past. of course, I would have to be a noble.

I would hate to be born today, now that parenting is another sport nowadays. Back then it was nothing. Parents knew how to handle their children from how they were raised. Now everyone sucks.

The decade of 6660. If i could make it through without being pwned by some evil shit 6669 would be a cool year to experience. Lots of evil shit going down, lots of sex going down, and lots of evil sex going down

I would choose the 1490's.

Probably the late 50's or 60's so I could be a teenager in the 70's.

Or the 80's or 90's.
