Rush has great instrumentals, And there's at least one on nearly every rush album, just do some youtube searches for rush instrumental. Or start with their most popular one; "YYZ"

Orion and Ktulu kick major ones too, Nice taste in music
How many guitar players does it take to change a light bulb?

Twelve. One to change the bulb and eleven to say they could do it better.

Try instrumental shred artists like Satch, Vai, or Buckethead

Also check out Evile's Hundred Wrathful Deities, its in the same vein as Metallica's. Other's to check out: Cauterization by Dark Angel, Ashes of the Wake by Lamb of God, Inquisition Symphony by Sepultura, and Musical Death (A Dirge) by Testament.

Hope that helps some, branch out a bit

I suggest Implements of Destruction by Chimaira...its long but worth the listen. Canto 34 by Five Finger Death Punch is not a bad instrumental in my opinion. Some of the Soulfly tracks (i.e.-Soulfly I-IV) by Soulfly are pretty cool...they have a more exotic sound since the members are mostly Brazilian. The Crusade by Trivium is a good shred filled instrumental. Also check out almost any song on Jeff Loomis' Zero Order Phase....for instance Shouting Fire at a Funeral... or Miles of Machines. Killer stuff and all instrumental.

One Of These Days - Pink Floyd

fabulous instrumental, check out the Pompeii version where Mason drops a stick, and picks up another one without missing a beat!

Agreed. Around 4:40 when Mason loses the stick.

Pink Floyd is what comes to mind.

I mean, even if a lot of the songs arent completely instrumental, take Shine On You Crazy Diamond for an example.

The few words there are in the song are in the last minute or two, where the song is like 10 minutes IIRC.

I feel bad looking at porn simply because of the ol' story that a lot of those girls were molested as children, But I've never heard of midgets being molested, so it doesn't matter to me anymore, as that's the only kind of porn I watch.
