hey i know this question will generate some laughs but I just ordered an amp head and a cab and I just realized i have no idea how they connect. Can i just use a regular guitar cable?

Cab- 1200 watts- http://www.guitarcenter.com/Behringer-Ultrabass-BB410-1200W-4x10-Bass-Cabinet-600606-i1152848.gc

Head- 450 watts- http://www.guitarcenter.com/Behringer-ULTRABASS-BX4500H-Bass-Amp-Head-103311015-i1145507.gc

Oh and if anyone couldgive me a link to any cable i may need to connect them then please include that. thanks

any music store will have them...they look exactly like a guitar/instrument cable...which is where the confusion comes in. Your amp will appreciate the use of a speaker cable though.

Here's one for $3.99

Wattage =/= Current and those wires will handle a ridiculous amount of current.
Wattage = Voltage (V) X Current (A)

If you were trying to run 400 A of current through the wire, you might have a problem. You're probably drawing 4-5 A of current, and not even all of that is actually put through your speakers.

Speaker wire is tens of times the gauge it needs to be. Think about how thin some of the solder connections and contact points are inside your amp. You'll have no problem man.
