so i been planning my build and found some wood. its a good price snce i dont want to spend a load on something that has potential to fail. anyways my question is that the wood is not completely dry. how big a factor is this on the guitar?
thanks

Huge. You cant build with it until it is properly dried.
Seal the ends and let it air dry, or have it kiln dried.

Regardless, your going to have to buy something else to use until it dries.

It warps, that can lead to cracking and splitting, especially if it's used for the neck, in which case you get total malfunction as it screws everything up.

Wood warps like crazy, you get shifts, cracks, especially if there's any kind of hard finish. Basically the guitar will become un playable as the wood dries out.

If you want to run your oven for a few months straight, go ahead.

I like your style. Common garage walls are handy too.

Oooh, Never thought of that one.
Some houses have power wires going overhead from one to the other.
Just hide it in there
