You can plug it into your pod, but it'll sound terrible. Are you trying to record or sing through it? Either way, that mic is crap. It's better for live sound than recording, but still not great.

well, the mic will be used for live shows , and though this is a little sad , im using my guitar hero mic through my laptop's usb to do vocals(works surprisingly well)

Next purchase: Peavey Vypyr 30 Combo Amp

If your using the mic for live vocals then get yourself a mic-preamp, and just run into the PA. A cheap ass mic pre-amp will sound better then running through a guitar amp.

You don't need a preamp to go into a PA, any decent PA system will have adequate volume for that stuff.
