hey if you had to pick between either and ernie ball volume pedal for 80 bucks and a keeley 2 band eq for 150 bucks which would you pick? id love the volume pedal for doing guitar swells with my post rock project, but the compressor would be a great addition to my sound.

your thoughs an opinions on which is the better buy with a 150 dollar budget??

Just my opinion, I play some post-rock, and i borrow my friends volume pedal sometimes, it is probably one of the most useful tools for getting some crazy effects in conjunction with some other pedals. Imo its worth much more than a compressor.

-Gibson LP VM
-Silvertone Kentucky Blue
-MXR CC Delay
-Ibanez TS-9
-Egnater Rebel 20
-Avatar 1x12

Haha. UG's Chuck just said chuck. haha
You're not truly playing guitar unless you know theory.

If you mean a Keeley Compressor, go with the compressor. just use your volume knob for swells.
