This is a random one for a guitar site,

just doing some maths and compound interest stuff however there is one answer I just cant get

Original Investment - 10 000

End Investment - 21 000 after 12 years, calculate the compound interest rate

Now I've come up with a few answers none of which are the correct one, it should be 6.38% but I get no where near that?!?!

I found the formula online but when I put it into my calculator I do not get 6.38 grrrrr

Thanks for the help

There's a thread for this.

yes, theres a thread for it

10000 * x to the power of 12 = 21000
x to the power of 12 = 21000/10000 = 2.1
